Default ABS and Traction lights stuck on

I posted a reply to another thread under stock but figured I'd open a new thread to my issue here as it may apply more here....

Was doing some light snow/mudding yesterday and now the ABS and traction lights are stuck on. Just got done power washing the snot out out of it and they are still stuck on.

Bad or corroded wheel sensor possibly?

This is the first my jeep has seen any bit of mud besides regular streets and nothing was submerged, only slippery sliding on shallow mud/slush/snow...

I'm going to slide under it once it stops dripping dirt balls and see i find a loose cable.

Anybody know what I should be looking for?

Also just read a thread about a "steering wheel dance" to disengage and re-engage both sensors and the dance didn't turn the lights off...

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Have you tried pulling trouble codes to see if you have a bad sensor?

If not, try this....

Same thing happened to me. Brought it to the dealership and it turned out to be a wheel speed sensor. Was fixed under warranty and back to normal

Kinda interesting. I read your post yesterday morning and would ya know it.. I had the same issue while driving home from work this morning. I was messing around with my drag link, trying to recenter my steering wheel and actually spun the draglink the opposite direction and when I drove to work, the wheel was even more cocked at an angle towards the passenger side. I drove all the way to work and got about half way back before the esp and trac lights stuck on. I'm gonna wake up tomorrow and adjust the drag link and see if that fixes the issue after driving around.. also, I ran the dtc codes and it came up reading "DONE". So hopefully recentering the steering wheel clears the code.

I tried it and nothing shows. Does this method work on 2012's?

Haven't had time to bring to the dealer and I'd actually prefer not to have them mess with anything.
