From: 2nd star to the right, and straight on 'til morning
I received my sliders last night.
They are very robust, and I like the way they attach to the frame.
Fabrication and finish look fine.
I don't really care for the appearance...
I think they look too thick and "busy" along with the stock rubi rails.
(I do think this is a very stout combination and should take immense abuse)
I have no doubt they will perform as advertised.
I just like the cleaner look of the Poison Spyder tube sliders (Rocker Knockers?) better.
Didn't loose ground clearance, they are just slightly above the frame rails.
The installation couldn't be easier.
Remove 6 bolts, cut six washers with a 4" grinder, paint ground edge with cold galv, install rails with 6 bolts.
I have a well sorted shop, and it took me less than 20 minutes, start to finish.
I did get a hand holding the rails in place to start the bolts, but you could easily use a jack or some donnage.
Northridge came through again.
Thanks guys!
