Acos Pro
If you use then to go as high as a lift kit, so as to need longer links, or track bars...its EXACTLY like any other lift method.
The Jeep, for the same amount of lift....however you get it... doesn't give a rat's ass whether the frame is further from the axles because the spacer is adjustable, the coils are longer, there's a hot air balloon tied to your roof, etc....
A spacer, a longer coil, whatever...its all the same thing as far as what else you need to do at that height....no matter how you got there.
The GREAT thing about the ACOS...its PRIMARY advantage...is that you can adjust the height and rake easily....so if you add a bumper, winch, skid plates, or go on a diet and lose 200 lbs, etc...you can adjust it to the height you want.
As a budget boost, its a lot more expensive than the ones with simple blocks of plastic or aluminum as spacers...but those can't be adjusted easily...you have to guess what will work, and go with it.
A budget boost for someone looking to change their mind, add longer coils later, add armor, set the ass end higher for a tough hill climb, or lower, to decend a steep drop....it is hard to beat.

You CAN use it as the basis for a very flexible lift though....another thread here talks about this in more detail....search for acos, and see if you can find it.

I installed the standard ACOS on my TJ. The rear ACOS were changed early last year from requiring welding to bolt on.
They were great I was able to adjust my ride height on all corners to compensate for weight like the winch, bumpers etc...
I lifted 3" in front 2.5 in the rear. The TJ rode great with new shocks and the stock springs. I also added a JKS adjustable rear track bar and JKS 1.25”Body Lift/1”Budget Motor Mount Lift. BTW those are 33" Nito Mudgrapplers.

If you want control over ride height then they are a good choice.
The PRO’s look great though they are very expensive. Seems like a lot of extra money for the Bump Stop thingy.
The standard ACOS are a great product IMO
Can’t go wrong with Dave at Northridge…………….
Not sure if I’ll go that route with my JK…
