Default Added winch, which springs to gain back height?

Added a winch and plate to my stock bumper. About 90lbs of weight. I have a 2.5 budget boost with my stock coils so I got a little sag. Probably not much more than .25" but enough to notice the rake again. I think I have either 12s or 13s for my front coils. What should I step up to in order to counteract the 90lbs? Maybe just one number, i.e. 12 or 13 to 13 or 14? I will verify what I already have next chance I get. Thanks.

Too bad you're so far away - I've got a set of 14 JKU takeoff springs collecting dust in my garage that would probably be perfect for what you're looking for. Maybe someone closer has some sitting around.

Good luck.

I added a RR XHD front bumper and Warn 9.5 CTI-s winch to my 2 door. I had 14 springs, I swapped to 16 springs and it brought the Jeep back to the height before the bumper/winch. The heavier springs seemed to handle the weight a lot better as well. HTH

Since I don't have a bumper maybe just one number increase? I may have 12 on driver and 13 on passenger but I'm not quite sure.

Digging through my old posts I found I have 14's and 56's. So 15's up front should do the job? 16's probably too much?

Post something in the wanted thread, I gave mine away free when I took them off, I'm sure there are other members doing the same. I always give my stock take offs away free.

BTW, nice rig!

Thanks! I'm assuming 15s are the way to go unless someone with more info believes 16s are better for me. I'll post up in the wanted section.

Default why not add a 1/2 spacer from teraflex i think thier 12.00

or larger spacer i cant even see any sag looks like plenty of tire clearance why bother : 1/4 inch lol com on man if some one can see that difference id laugh at them i them . id concentrate on hiding the chrome thing

sits nice the way it is

i dont understand the concept of the bar behind the bumper it seems it should be out front thats just gonna crush into the grill in a fender bender with a light weight fender !

I don't do it for others I do it for me. It sat perfectly level with the budget boost before the winch. Take off springs are basically free so why not? I'm probably the only one that notices and that's fine by me. And we're really starting with the chrome now?
