Default Adding 70# To Front End..... What Springs?

Have a 2013 JK Sport. Adding an LOD Armor Lite and a Warn M3000s. Total increase of about 70#. What would be a good spring to put in the front to level me out?

If you're adding an aftermarket bumper and a winch, it's going to weigh a lot more than 70lbs. My Smitty XRC8 with synthetic line weighs almost 90lbs.

EDIT: Hold on, is the M3000 an ATV winch?

If that's the case, then it may be closer to 70lbs. But why spend the money on a winch that you can't use to do a self-recovery?

I agree adding a 23 pound toy winch to the front of your JK is just dangerous. You would be better off with nothing at all or just some hooks and a hi-lift. A real 10,000 pound winch like you should have on the front of any Jk is going to weight more then 70 pounds just for that and that is with synthetic line going on it. I think my Zeon if I recall is about 90lbs without the line added to it. But to answer your orginal question most suspension fabricators make a leveling kit of some kind to compensate for heavier equipment and load. You can either do it with new coils or with coil spacers of some kind as well.

Is a 3k winch a typo? I hope so, because it won't last long if you use it for much more than pulling stumps. As far as springs, many of the springs available will compensate for the added weight, but if its not enough, you can just add a spring spacer.

Yeah, Typo. M8000s. Winch weighs 55#, Armor Lite Bumper weighs little over 40# with Bull Bar. 95# minus about 30# or so for stock bumper.

Not to give you a hard time at all man but why not spend the extra hundred bucks or so and buy the Zeon 8s then? Then you get a fully submersible sealed unit with gears that are much larger. Also 55 pounds for the 8000s seems pretty optimistic and subtracting 30 pounds for the front bumper is very optimistic I think. Either way good luck on your new build. It is a fun process to everything but your wallet.

The M8000 actually has better pulling power than the Zeon8. The only place they are comparable is at the first layer. If I was going with the Zeon, it would be the 10s, that's about $250 more. As far as weight, just going by the Warn website. Also read an overland expo article that the actual (measured ) weight of the M8000 was 56 with a steel fair lead, and the 8000s comes with an aluminum one.
M8000 has been around for a while, and Zeon is brand new. Always had a problem with first year runs.

You will probably be ok by adding a 3/4" spacer up front to compensate for the additional weight.

I checked and only have 13's in the front. Just ordered a set of 15's for the front to carry the additional weight. Just adding spacers will eventually kill the springs. I'll be running 15/55's and should be close to level.
