Just wanna know if anyones successfully added those EU style electric adjusting headlights to their US JK yet. It seems like a very useful little thing for not blinding people in city driving but actually seeing further than 30 feet in back roads. I imagine it goes through the CAN system tho but the very few threads I’ve seen about it people seemed to disagree about that, but with no actually evidence to say for sure, just theories. Anybody have any details about this or is it too much work for too little reward

 

I use the Chinese Ebay LED lights with the 3 lights inside, They shine as far as my wife's Q5 Bi Xenons and don't piss anyone off in the city or highway. Trying what you want to do may be possible but going to be alot of research unless you can get your hands on the ECU codes for Europe with that option. You could get your hands on WiTech software and hardware which is the coding platform Jeep uses and that may show an option in the ECU for that along with many other things. Now you will be in the range of JBSpeaker headlights with no software changes.

 

yeah I actually have really nice headlights, and bought some Morimoto 90mm headlights with low and high beam and did some modifying to put them in the place of my fog lights. So now I have 4 headlights with high beams and not only are they bright as hell but they don’t blind anybody. I was still interested in the adjustable headlights tho if it wasn’t a big hassle
