Default Adding to BB lift question?

I have a 2" BB lift with 35's on my jeep. I was wondering if I could pull the springs back out and put the stock 1" pucks underneth the 2" ones to give me more lift? I have new longer shocks and brake line extenders already. Would this be ok or is there going to be a prob I don't know about?

You could do it, but new coils would be better, also look at faq for 3in of lift.

Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 3" lift?
A: At bare minimum, you should have a set of 3" coils, bump stop extensions, longer shocks, rear brake line extension brackets, new longer rear sway bar links (factory links can be installed up front), adjustable front track bar and rear track bar relocation bracket. Optimally, I would recommend adjustable front upper and lower control arms as well as they will help you set your caster to the appropriate angle it needs to be. Also, if you have a 2-door, adjustable rear upper control arms and a new double cardin U-joint style drive shaft would be highly advisable.

Actually, if your having clearence issues, you could do a 1in body lift, I ran a 2inBB and 1in bl with 35's with no issues.

You could try it, drive it and see what you think. U can usually find stock springs pretty cheap and or given away. Do you have bumpstop extensions on it right now?

I've heard of people doing this before without problems. I'd prefer springs personally at that point.

If u are talking about the rubber isolators that came with ur jeep that would be no problem since almost all BB Iahve seen require u to reinstall these anyways. Did ur directions tell u not to put them back in?
