Default Adding coil spacers?

Looking to add back to my stock height after a heavy bumper and winch install. I lost about 5/8" in height from the install. I don't mind the factory rake, and really don't want the rig sitting as level as others prefer. I know everyone will tell me to go straight to a coil lift, but that isn't going to happen for a multitude of reasons.

I am looking to add spacers to bring things back to where they were, and maybe a bit more, but I want to keep things to just spacers. Where is the breaking point where you need more (shocks, sway bar links, track bars/relocation brackets, etc.)?

I know there are a multitude of spacers from 3/4" to 2.5". I am wanting to add spacers to the front, but also figure if I am going to add to the front, I may as well go a little taller and add some to the rear as well. Here are the options:
add 3/4" to the front and call it a day
add 1 3/4" to the front and 3/4" to the rear
add 2 1/2" to the front and 1 3/4" to the rear

I am assuming the first 2 can be spacers only with noting else - PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG!!

What about the 2 1/2" front/ 1 3/4" rear? Can that be spacers only, or does that cross the line of needing track bars, sway links, etc? After the heavy front, it would really only be 1 3/4" net lift on the front. Can I get away with spacers only for this?

Thanks for any help!!

Now this is exactly what I would like to know. For us that want to just go up a couple of sizes on tires but want to keep the CG down what is the max spacer without messing with the stock everything else?
Right now I have a stock 2dr Rubicon auto trans. with RR front bumper and winch as well as full set of Rough Country skid plates. That alone puts the front down about 1 inch.

Thanks for any advice.

The teraflex leveling kit adds 2" front, 1" back. With your heavier winch and such it will end up being more like 1" over stock up front.

A 2.5" front, 1.5" rear would probably be the best bet for staying level and gaining some lift. Eventually though you may want to go to like an OME 2" lift with the HD springs.

x2 on this kit. It's about as big as you can go without adding all the extras you get on a 2.5" BB.

Just so I get this straight: You are telling me that anything over 1.75 in the front is where you get into worry about more (shocks, swaw links, track bars)? I keep thinking that on mine, with the bumper & winch, a 2.5 BB will net me 1.75" and thus have a good chance to stay at just the spacers. Will this work?

You should be fine with the 2.5 in the front. If you have a rubicon you might not need the shock extender brackets. X and sahara require the brackets im pretty sure.

You've considering a lot of options that produce a range of changes. I suggest you pick the exact end state (remove all rake, additional lift, just recover height lost to extra weight, etc) you will like to achieve first.

The range of changes can be covered by spacer based products from a TF leveling kit to a TF 2.5 BB.

If you are willing to spend more money you can go with JKS ACOS adjustable spacers.

If you want to minimize the need for additional mods don't go above 2.5" if you are going to flex the suspension.

I get what your asking...

Correct me if im wrong, but you want to get the most height from coil spacers without adding additional suspension parts like shocks, brake line brackets, etc...

I'm pretty much in the same situation. Im adding a rear bumper (already have front) and want to gain an inch or so and also recover the sag. I currently have 1 3/4 spacer up front and 1" rear. Im going to swap those out for 2.5 front / 2" rear. I shouldnt need any additional parts especially since
1. I will not actually get 2.5" lift due to the added weight of the bumpers (maybe 1 3/4)
2. I do not do any rock crawling...I live in the N East so its basically mud, dirt/gravel or mild rocky trails.

We should be good to go with the 2.5" spacers (someone correct me if im wrong)
