Adding to lift
I have a 2007 Jeep Wrangler in a 2.5 in lift. I want to raise it at least another each. Is there a way I can do this without buying a whole new lift kit. I would like to be at 3.5 or 4 inch lift
A 1" coil spacer sounds like what you're looking for. They can be had for pretty cheap by a couple of different manufacturers. Daystar is where I personally would look. There are also larger than 1" spacers available.
You also have the option of buying a new set of coils. You could probably get away with minor adjustments going from a 2.5 to 3.5, depending on what your 2.5 kit came with.

That depends on how much you like the way your jeep currently rides, how much you off-road, and how much you want to spend. If you like the ride and don't do any heavy wheeling, the spacers would work best.
If you want to spend the money, could could easily be the better of the two, depending on the coils you buy.

But, why are you opposed to added the extra parts that come as part of the 3.5-4" kits you see?? You know what functions they perform, right? Are any of them already installed? Ask yourself how you think your jeep will handle and perform, at that new height, but without the parts that correct the issues of going taller and taller...
