Adding Rubi E-locker to Stock Rear D44
If I want to add the Mopar E-locker to my stock open D44, can I get the E-locker, Rubicon 4.10 gears, and Rubicon 32-spline axles and be set? Or is the housing set up differently?

I wouldn't put a Rubi e-Locker in; they are marginal. I just had mine apart and I saw too much wear. Go with an ARB. If you have to buy an e-locker the price is about the same as the ARB though you need toadd a compressor for the ARB.
Want another reason to go ARB? Jeep, in their infinite stupidity, has different length axles shafts on either side. So if you want to carry a spare you need two shafts. The ARB uses the same length on either side so you would only have to carry one shaft and could use it on either side.

for this price, i get lockers and better gears (i have crappy 3.21s and i want 4.10s), and can usually get rear axle shafts for pretty cheap. i thin kit would be a good deal
so with an ARB I would have to buy new shafts as well?

If you can pick up just the rear rubi locker really cheap, and find cheap axles it could work out for you. Just keep in mind the price to regear and have 4:10's, you might end up wanting 5:13s. I don't think you need to buy new shafts for the arb.

Not that simple. Been there done that. Bearings are not interchangable. Races are not interchagable. It's not just like chaging the carrier and axles.
From experience, this is not as straight forward as it may sound. Seems simple, but it's not.
Go after market.
trust me.
