Default Adj. Control Arms

Well I'm getting ready to purchase front upper and lower control arms, and I want to hear from those out of you with experience with these as to which you would recommend. Although I have a Full-Traction lift I'm not set on sticking to one specific manufacturer (JKS trackbars onroute). I want fully adjustable arms and not ones that require cam bolts so those are out.

I recommend Fulltracton...

I've ran them for over 20,000 miles without any issues. Your not going to bend the arms, extremely beefy.

x2 on clayton arms. I love mine! and there's no way you'll ever bend them (and even if you do, they'll replace them )

I have no experience like I said but would the square tubing be stronger than round?

The arms should have zerk fittings so you don't have to remove the arms to grease.

I puzzled over control arms too. I wasn't sure whether I needed both upper and lowers to be adjustable. I ended up going with RE which are fixed length (but 1/4" longer than stock) lower and adjustable uppers. I've had all the adjustability I've needed with that set up. If you do go fixed lower be sure they are longer than stock to maintain the same wheelbase.

I am running Rusty's lowers only. I used them to get my caster back to the stock setting, or at least close to it. If you want your caster back you will need adjustable lowers only. You will end up with the fronts being .250 to .350 longer than the stock ones.

If you want to be able to move the front end back to its factory location you will need uppers and lowers. However, if you put longer uppers on, then you will need to add that number back to the lowers as well to get your caster. So, if you adjust your uppers to .250 longer than stock, then adjust your lowers .500 to .750 longer.

These numbers are just starting points, each Jeep is different, so I would suggest a high quality alignment shop to do the fine tuning.
