Back on topic, what about using loctite from the outset? Should not back off and retorquing could actually be detrimental because it would break the loctite seal......?

I don't use lock tight on mine, but if you did, just set the torque wrench 5ft lbs under and see if it clicks, that way the seal isn't broke

Better advise from cvjoint, I don't think you should locktight susp components personally, just check torque.

I went to lunch today and seen a nice lifted JK with 37 on it. 4 inch lift or what ever and it had spring spacers. I took a peek under his jk to see what he had. No adjustable control arms a front track bar bracket that I grabed and was lose as hell. So I know this thing had to drive pretty shitty going down the road. I could be wrong though but I doubt it because I had to do things to mine to get it to drive straight down the road with 35's. It is just scary knowing that I am driving past these people.
I understand your point but if I came out to someone underneath my jeep.. Stand by to stand by. Pretty messed up u think u have the right to be tugging on someone (a complete stranger) elses jeep without any kind of permission.

I know but I like overkill when it comes to the part of the jeep likely to cause dw.

Thought the bracket made it adjustable. I warned him that it was not tight and went on my way.
Well I stand corrected! I must have misunderstood. Hopefully, you enlightened him a little bit.
