Default Adjustable Lower Control Arms Question

Might be a stupid question, not sure...

I'm piecing together some suspension components to throw together later in the year when I increase my lift. I was reading the description for the badass EVO adjustable lower control arms and it says they are fully adjustable installed on the rig. Are all adjustable control arms "adjustable" while they are installed, or is this only a feature of certain arms? Some descriptions don't mention it. I am a suspension novice, so give me a break if it's a stupid question... but I am learning doing all the work on my JK myself. It is so much fun building these things... I swear it's like LEGO's.

Thanks.

I'm also wondering this.

I have the rock Krawler lower front. And they are not adjustable on the rig. You would have to disconnect the joint at the axle to adjust not sure about any others.

not all control arms are adjustable. the more popular brands (TF, FT, JKS, RK, clayton, currie) are. i dont know of any that can be adjusted while installed at both ends. usually, you have to remove the end that is thread, give it some spins in the correct direction and then bolt it back up. its easy and takes a matter of minutes.

This is what's confusing to me. Check out these EVO front adjustables from Northridge: http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddet...L_ARMS&cat=280

Says fully adjustable while installed. Great selling point to me, if that's the case.

All EVO MFG Control Arms come with our EVO1 Adjuster

This is a threaded collar that allows you to adjust the length of the control arm without having to remove one end.

You simply loosen the grade 8 pinch bolt and then turn the collar (silver part) until you have reached your desired length (or castor/pinion angle) and then re-tighten pinch bolt. No need to drop the arm and fight to get the arm re-installed.

Hey Evo, do you make a full set of control arms, for front and rear, upper and lower? If so how much?

EVO I'm also interested in purchasing a complete set of front/rear upper & lower control arms. Being able to adjust the caster/pinion while not having to disconnect either end makes them invaluable!
