Default Adjustable trac bar? Which one?

Okay so my jk came lifted when I bought it a few months ago. It had started developing some popping, and the axle started shifting off center when I make a hard turn. I traced it down to the pos trac bar drop bracket. I am guessing from what I have read that I can remove the drop bracket, and put an adjustable trac bar in place of the stock one, and it should correct my problem. Which one is the best bang for the buck as well? Am I going about this the right way? I know the ideal setup would be a steering upgrade kit, but I don't want to drop that kind of dough right now with college starting Monday. Thanks in advance for the advice.

if you remove your track bar relocation bracket, you will NEED to remove your dropped pitman arm as well. or, if you have a draglink flip installed, you will need to reinstall your factory draglink. you cannot do one without the other. having said that, if you have 4" or more of lift, you really should keep the track bar relocation bracket and dropped pitman arm or draglink flip as they will help improve your handling. if in fact your popping is coming from the relocation bracket, this is a real problem and one you need to address as soon as possible as failure to do so can result in death wobble or even a broke factory track bar mount. if you can, find someone to weld and reinforce the bracket.

Save the cash, buy it once.

Teraflex monster track bar, that will fix it.
Definitely ditch the drop bracket

I just installed a JKS adjustable track bar and the front end feels much tighter. Was experiencing DW due to worn bushings and track bar holes being wallowed. For now I am keeping the drop braket and drop pitman arm until I can have a shop re-true the holes and re-inforce the bracket. I am currently running a 3.5" RC series II lift.
Once I fix the hole issues and remove drop pitman and bracket, might I experience DW again to geometry issues???

no, but your handling will not be as good as it would if you keep them on. relocating your track bar and dropping your pitman arm helps to restore your steering geometry so that it's closer to stock. by removing them, both will sit at a much higher angle and this will influence your handling negatively. in truth, it's not that big of a deal but, you will notice a difference.

Okay, I figured it would be better to do away with the drop bracket. I considered tacking the bracket with a couple of spot welds in case I want to remove it, but I figured that would be a worse idea. So in this case I should just keep everything the way it is and put some spot welds on it correct? Also it just has a budget boost 2.5" on it. Not sure which brand.

wait, you just have a 2.5" lift? you know, you never did say if you have a dropped pitman arm or drag link flip installed. with such a small lift, i really doubt that you do and if you really do have just a track bar relocation bracket, i would definitely remove it. have it without a drag link correction installed is not a good thing.

I would like to keep the ride quality and think I will just re-inforce the heck out of ever bracket possible. Thanks for the insight on the brackets and pitman.
