Default Adjustable track bar install

How hard is it to install an adjustable track bar? I have looked it up and am just trying to decide of I can do it. I have basic skills with tools and the only tool I don't have is a torque wrench.

Do yourself a favor, pick up a torque wrench, there are plenty of good ones. That is one tool you will use over and over on a JK.

I agree it is easy but remember you don't really need an adjustable trackbar if your lift is below 2.5". I installed my adjustable trackbar in the front with basic tools in 1 hr. You need a hydraulic lift and preferable 2 car stands to manipulate the axle.

Thanks for the information, I agree about the need for the torque wrench and plan on picking one up this weekend.

Any other suggestions are appreciated, thanks again

Cool

I also used a "come-a-long" to center the axle on the frame as well as using grade 8 9/16 x 4" bolts and washers for a tighter fit. I did have to trim the bolts to shorter length since I wanted the "shoulder" portion of the bolt to touch both sides of the frame and axle trac bar mount for that tight fit.
