Adjustable Track Bar. When needed
2007 JK 4 door running 33's.
At what lift height are the adjustable track bars needed 1.75 2" 2.5" 3"???
Or is it better to put on regardless of the height.
Looking at vatious lifts from 1.75 to 2.5 and want to do the whole job from the start.
Looked at the Full traction 2" front and 1.2 rear. probable lift
Or I will go with either the 2 or 2.5 inch I will need an additional 3/4 spacer in the front to level it out.
ALso is one better than another. I see Northridge has two models avail.
Thanks for any input

With any lift your axle will shift, but if you go 2" or less the shift would be so minimal i am not sure you would even notice it. I would say 2.5" you should start looking at trac bars.
I am not sure, but i believe the differnt models on northridge site just have different shocks.

When you lift your Jeep to any height, your axles will shift due to the fixed lenght of your track bars. This can be corrected somewhat by installing relocation brackets but IMHO, an adjustable track bar is the way to go for most applications. Now, when do you really need to have them installed? In my opinion, you should really consider having them at any lift over 2". Granted, I did run a TeraFlex 2.5" BB without them and without any problems but now that I am running a Full Traction 3" Ultimate Lift, I don't think I would run it without them.
