Default To adjustable trackbar or not...

With a 2" spring lift (actualy about 2 3/4) my axles are about 1/4 off on the front and back. As for the ride I love it, no bump steer, drives straight as an arrow, corners great and no ESP problems at all.

The only complaint I have since getting the lift is occasionaly on certain roads I get what feels like driving over a washboard kinda like a wheel hop in the front. I did not get this with the stock suspension on the same roads. As soon as i get on a smoother road its gone and I'm back to loving it again.

Now for the question....should I put on adjustable track bars or leave it? Will the trackbars eliminate the washboard? could better shocks help, maybe Nitro shocks?

Default Transmission Shutter

I am familiar with what you describe as a "washboard" affect while driving. However, I have done no mods as of yet. There is a TSB which provides information on this very topic, they call it transmission shutter and descbribe the feeling as like driving over "ripple strips". Not sure if this might help, the issue may have been around prior to your mods.

I don't think that would be my problem because it happens at the same spot on the same roads....and I have a manual tranny

Default Tera's are fine...

Teraflex fixed the ball joint issue many months ago and by now I would assume anything out there is new. If they aren't give them a call. All I can say is they went out of there way to make sure everything was corrected. So while they had a issue the quick responds and customer support more than cleared up any doubts I had about them or there products.

I will be purchasing Teraflex in the future!

Why spend money if you don't need to? Grab one of TeraFlex's rear trackbar brackets (2-3 weeks or sooner ) $30ish to put that rear axle dead center. I would only do adj. trackbars if I had a 3" kit. Sure the 2.5" are little higher than 2.5", but not enough to really justify the expense IMO. Being a new owner of a JK Unlimited I am personally pushing for new products for the JK. Factory Flimsy brackets and stock sucky steering stabilizers don't cut it with me.
