Default Adjustable Traction Bar to long?

So I installed my front adjustable traction bar and I had to screw the adj. trackbar all the way in and I'm still about a half inch over on passenger side. I've removed it from both sides turned the wheels a couple of times and still off. Is the bar to long? What am I doing wrong?

That's your Jeep telling you that you need to get a higher lift...

Seriously the adjustable track bars are usually for 3" and higher lifts, and are ordered specifically for a lift range.

Is you axle shifted to one side with your current lift set up, if it is, try having some one push on the side of the jeep to make the bolts line up, or you can use a ratchet strap between the frame and the axle to jack the axle to one side while you install the bolts.

Once the track bar is installed, run the jeep around the block, and recheck axle alignment side to side, if its off adjust the track bar. If you can not adjust the track bar in the right direction due to the threads being bottomed out, then the track bar is too long for your lift setup.

what track bar are you using? did it come with your lift kit?

more than likely, your problem is your jeep's way of telling you that you need to adjust the position of your axle under your jeep.

if i remember correctly, there is a real good alignment "how to" in the write up forum index which covers track bar positioning.

Superlift

Ive got a 2.5 bb and 3/4 leveling spacer. It was off a bit with the stock traction bar so I ordered the adjustable. Now its worse. I think they are right It's not enough of lift.
