Default Adjusting Caster

In an effort to cure ***** wobble, can caster be adjusted by an alignment shop, or do I need adjustable control arms ?

they might install cam bolts to try and cure this. you would want Adj. control arms for the safest bet on this one

It's hard to get the front uppers short enought to give you the caster you need. I think that Currie makes some that will work. The best bet is front adj lowers.

If you do indeed have DW, also check your ball joints, front trackbar, toe in, and tire balance.

Good luck!

Forgot to mention, if you want to increase your caster adj CAs is the answer. Particulary the front lowers. Cam bolts are considered by many to be dangerous.

Unless your caster is really low (<3°), I don't think it is the cause of your death wobble. But to answer your question, definitely adjustable control arms. Upper or lower give you the same net result. As others have mentioned, most of the uppers on the market are bottomed out and can't be made any shorter. So safest bet is lowers which can be lengthened to increase your caster. You don't want the cam bolts!!! Good luck.
