Default Advance Adapters Cable Upgrade Kit for JK transfer case.

Anybody tried the Advance Adapters Cable Upgrade Kit yet? Looks like a great solution to the pos stock transfer case shift cable.

I'm sure thats a good solution for you but the Advance cable solves the problem at both cable ends. I'm tired of thinking one end or the other is going to break AGAIN every time I use 4wd. This cable and ends look very strong but I was hoping for real world experiance before I try it. Looks like I'll be the first.

Cheap plastic connections at the end of the shift cable, either underneath at the tcase or inside the center console. Here is one of the many, many threads on it.

I cant understand why an "engineer" would link a steel t-case lever to a steel cable, to a steel shifter lever with plastic clips. HELLO! does the term "weakest link" sound familiar. Maybe they could have at least gone with the ultra-futuristic ground breaking technology of a cotter pin.

I have no doubt that the engineer would defend it as a "feature" to protect sensitive, internal components of the transfer case from much more expensive damage should an owner get too ham-fisted while shifting it.
