Lightbulb Advice on installing a teraflex leveling kit and disconnect hardware

Hey all you JK guru's , I just got in my teraflex leveling kit and disconnect hardware from David at Northridge a couple of days ago and I'm planning on putting it on this fourth of July weekend!!! I noticed some of you have it on your JK's already (it looks good too ) and was just wondering if you could give me any advice on what to do. I've read the directions and it seems pretty simple, but didn't know if yall had any advice on doing it. All comments and advice welcomed!!! Thanks guys and have a Happy 4th!!!

Any of the suspension write-ups in the 'Write-Ups' area will help you out. They all use basically the same steps, and will have pics as well...

Here are a few...

I tried to put on the leveling kit myself. I had the axle dropped enough to take out the spring but once I put in the spacers I couldn't make the spring go back on. I think it was because with my skyjacker lift they put the extended bumpstops on the axle side instead of where the factory one is. I just couldn't make it fit over it! I got so frustrated and gave up. Also, I didn't think I could drop the axle any more because the brake lines were so taut I thought they were about to snap. And yes I did unbolt the bracket from the frame. Now I'm gonna have to pay a freakin shop to do it... As for the quick discos, those are easy, took me all of 10 min. Sorry for the rant

Put the lower bumpstop inside the coil, install the coil, and then attach the bumpstop. A wrench/socket will fit between the coils just fine. (unless skyjacker uses a different kind of lower bumpstop than the RE's I put in...)

It seems like skyjacker was just trying to make everything difficult... The bolt is under the spring perch which makes it very difficult to get a rachet or wrench to.

My teraflex kit, they sent a thin bent wrench to reach in there..
Nope, unless the shop who installed the lift just decided to keep it! they didn't seem like the most trusting people to do business with... haha
