Default ADVICE please..Front caliper left side

I was recently driving down the highway and my 08 started to thump/slash jump. I stopped and noticed my driver side wheel was quite warm compared to the others. I drove home prolly 10kms. I took the wheel off and took the caliper off. I compressed and depressed with a c clamp. The caliper seemed to move ok so I just cleaned everything up and re installed. The thump is still present though. Is my caliper a dd? I only have 44k on it. I have also already replaced my rear drier side for the same reasons. Any insight? I'm assuming I need a new caliper. The rotor seemed ok when I turned it by hand with the wheel off. Pads are good too. So why the thumping? Thanks!

Your rotors are probably warped. Does it make the noise when braking also?

Yeah. I can feel it in the pedal. Haven't really heard it. Grrr, such a random fail that shouldn't happen. Not considered "powertrain" is it lol?
