I have a 2010 jK 2DR. 6 SPD. i USES IT FOR MY JOB. AS A PROMOTIONAL TRUCK. i CURRENTLY HAVE A 4 INCH LIFT WITH 1.75 SPACERS AND A 2 INCH BODY LIFT. i HAVE 37'S BUT MY ULTIMATE GOAL IS 40'S WHAT'S THE CORRECT WAY FOR STREET USE TO RUN THESE WITH MINMAL ISSUES. AND WHAT GEAR RATIO TO SOMEWHAT HELP THE FUEL CONSUMPTION . WE NEVER DRIVE THIS THINK OFFROAD. WE HAVE ANOTHER JK FOR THAT.

if it's an x, sport or sahara, the hightest gear ratio you can run is 5.13. if it's a rubicon, 5.38 is what you'll want. if you don't have it already, you'll want a new u-joint style double cardan rear drive shaft. being that you have a 2-door, the amount of angle that your rear shaft is seeing now will cause it to fail sooner than later. in order to do this, you will need adjustable rear upper control arms to set your pinion angle but, for this much lift, i'd say new lowers as well and a set of JKS adjustable lower spring perches as well. if you haven't got it already, some kind of steering correction system (track bar relocation/drag link flip) like the kind that off road evolution makes would be something you'd want as well. if you're still getting some rub, body trimming will be needed.
