Default Advise for my first woops?

Knocked the rear right fender off back on 7-12 at Evans Creek, used some generic push in holders from the hardware store and it worked for a wile. A couple of trips and 2 months later, the thing is acting like its giong to fall off again.

Any one know of a good and cheep way (home-made perhaps) way to keep these stock fender flairs on untill I can aford to buy some new ones?

when i took mine off all that held it on was those plastic push screw things, so i would search around and find a heavier duty pair, or upgrade to bushwachers or xenons! remember something broken is the best justification for a mod

Default I had an issue with this

When my Jeep was six months new, I had issues with two of the four fenders on my unlimited sahara being loose. I took it in for a warranty issue and the dealer used some larger fasteners. I would bring it in to the dealer and see what they would charge to fix it. If you get your oil chaned at the dealer regularly, sometimes that is enough to get some good pricing on emergency stuff like this.

Do, not try to do this yourself or the problem will get worse. I would either go the dealership repair route or go for some aftermarket fenders as previously suggested.

Good Luck,

Iggy

If you cant find the right fasteners to fix it, take it to any Body shop and they will do it. There is no need to buy new ones or take it to the dealer.
You are just not using the right hardware. If all else fails put in a blind nut and a small bolt with washers.

There are two ideas behind those little plastic fasteners:

#1. They're cheap.

#2. They're fragile...so the will snap/pull out/whatever before you actually do damage to your sheet metal

Fasteners are cheap. Repairing metallic body damage is not
