Default Aeroforce Gauge Mounting Ideas?

I just ordered a new Aeroforce II gauge for my Rubicon Unlimited and was looking for some mounting ideas? Any ideas would be welcomed. I just went with the single gauge. Pics would be awesome.

Thanks,

That is a cool mount. I emailed him and asked him where he got that mount. So far, no response.

Default on the side

Here's mine. Used a autometer angle trim ring to correct the angle a bit ( I trimmed the ring back a bit)

Nice, clean install. Can you see the gauge there?

I have mine mounted on the left bottom with the autometer ring also. I did not trim the ring. I cannot read the description of the top readout, but I can still clearly see the number for the top readout.

The overall position is kind of out of the way. It is good in that is a clean install and not flashy. It bad in that it is not in any normal vision area. Its kind of like looking at the left power outlet in the center dash area... you can see it, but you have to take your eyes off the road for longer than you may be comfortable with.

I used this cup but I modified it.
http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/Unive...wivel-Pod.aspx

I cut off the mounting arm...........leaving only a plastic cup.

I cut the cup down 3/4 of an inch (cut off the open end). If you don't cut it down the arm of the sun visor will hit the gauge when you swing it to the side window.

I held the cup into the corner and marked the position of the front edge on the corner trim. The rear of the cup is very close to the windshield.

I removed the corner plastic trim piece in the Jeep.

Held the cup into the corner and drilled 2 holes.

I used 2 machine screws/lock washers/nuts to secure the cup.

Drill a new hole in the side of the cup for the wire harness and reinstalled.

It sounds complicated but the whole process did not take long at all.
My gauge was a little loose in the cup at first so I wrapped it with about 3 winds of electrical tape before installing the rubber gasket and inserting into the cup.

Hope that helps,

Brad

EDIT:
I just added 2 more pics. One with sun visor down and one with it to the side. The only time the gauge is partially blocked is with the visor to the side.
