Default Aeroforce Interceptor and Hypertech

Anyone know if the Aeroforce Interceptor OBD2 plug-in gauge is compatible with the Hypertech programmer? I'm concerned that since the gauge uses the diagnostic port and takes its inputs from the computer it may not function properly with a modified program.

From my understanding the Aeroforce is just a monitoring device and it shouldn't interfere with the Hypertech programing or vice versa.
