Default AEV 3.5" to 4.5"

My understanding is that the only difference between the two (AEV 3.5 and 4.5) is the size of springs and shocks possibly? I would love to retain my Bilstein 5160 reservoir shocks, but will change if i must...

Has anyone dabbled in switching around coil springs? I am more interested in a medium firmness so I can carry more load, however I don't want to sacrifice ride quality any...

Any thoughts? Experiences? Suggested Coils?

Thanks

I did one and just changed the coils and moved the track bar and control arms to the next hole and the shock were the same, probably should have got the bigger bump stops though.

From their website

"Between the 3.5” and 4.5” DualSport Suspension Systems, the only differences are the springs, the bump-stops, and the additional shock extension brackets. All other parts were designed to configure properly for either lift height. These are the only components that would need to be upgraded, and all can be purchased as an upgrade kit from AEV."
