Default AEV 3.5 Lift

So many of you guys have said to call Dave at Northridge about lifts. I did and he recommended the AEV 3.5" JK DualSport SC Suspension lift. Does anyone have any experience with this? It sure does seem to be ultra complete. I would run 35s with it. Does anyone have an idea about finished actual height? This is my first JK and it's a stock 2 door Sport. Any information would be helpful.

I know you will need new drive shafts, those are not in the kit. I would think extended brake lines as well.

There is so many good lift kits out there. AEV in my opinion is one of them.

It just all depends on what you are using your vehicle for.

Dave installed the AEV 3 1/2" Premium on my 2008 2 door and I was told I did not need drive shafts.
It rides great I might also add.

Default AEV Nth Degree

I have the AEV Nth Degree 3.5 Premium. IMO it is perfect for the "newbie. (ME)" Mine is a DD with occasional crawling. It made everyday drivability better in my 09 2dr Sahara. I also have 35s. Im deployed so i can't measure. I installed the kit with a friend. It included everything needed for the lift, to include the
procal. I don't have drive shafts yet I just leave the discos connected until i can afford new DSs.

Default It does what it says on the box

I fitted this to my 4 door, great ride, and loads of flex, i was really impressed with the quality of components, and ease of fitting.

Even with a 2dr? Ive always been told that 3" lifts or taller will need shafts. Is this just with the AEV?

With a manual you won't an automatic you will. They do have the issue with contacting the trans pan when fully stuffing the passenger side and drooping the drivers side (this has been confrimered from personal experience and talking with Dave at AEV).

Nothing a new AEV driveshaft can't fix though.

Having said that after running 3 different lifts prior to the AEV suspension I like the AEV lift the best as far as simplicity and ride quality.
