AEV recommends taking the entire trans skid off to prevent the stock driveshaft from hitting it. The new brackets delete the need for a new driveshaft or cams.
On the other hand, I utilized Rock Krawler lower control arms and a new driveshaft. I couldn't be happier with the ride.
