i have to agree it is one of the nicest looking bumpers i have seen, but unfortunetly it is the most expensive i have seen too. would end up spending over 2 grand to get a bumper and winch up front w/ the skidplate and mounting plate + cost of winch. way exessive for me. so far i like the PureJeep bumper best as it drops the winch in the frame rails. waiting to see some tubular rockcrawler style bumpers to appear like the smittybuilts.

I agree it is terribly expensive but to me it is the best looking option....so far anyway. Buy the time I can afford it there should be other options.

I think I would (will) buy that hood for the 700.00 instead of a bumper. And go with a stubby Just looks meaner plus a greater approach angle. add in there some great looking 35"s.... oohh cold shower

USGAONE-sounds like you must have got some good info...so what is the scoop? Will the Warn Powerplant fit? What did he have to say about the rear bumper? Thanks for any details.

Yeah I really like the AEV bumper....but it is a bit on the pricey side. I have seen the Warn bumper and can't decide between that or AEV. The only problem I have with the warn bumper is that the winch will stick out too much for my taste.

I spoke with them as well, when placing my order. All items currently shown on their site for the JK will be shipping in Jan. The new rear bumper, if I remember correctly will be anounced at the first of the year and pictures will be up at that time with deliveries in Feb. They mentioned that a few additional goodies will be coming out at that same time, including their new 17 x 8" Non-Beadlock wheel. I asked about the camper roof, that was apparently a "one-off" show item.

The Warn powerplant (I was thinking the same thing) will apparently "not fit" due to it's height, as well as blocking airflow.

DARN!!!! I didn't think it'd fit after seeing the excellent pics in the gallery. I guess that scratches THIS bumper off my list of possible stock replacements. What ever happened to Expedition One?!?! They promised me in an email, they'd have a production bumper ready to photograph by mid November. Um, guys, that was a month ago... where's the bumper?!???

Any replacement bumper considered for my JK has GOT to meet the following criteria:
1. Fits the new Warn Dual Force winch.
2. Winch mounts down BETWEEN the frame rails, not above them.
3. Retains the factory fog lights.
4. Has tabs for additional off-road lights.
5. Able to fit a ROLLER fairlead.
6. Doesn't look cheezy or too retro (i.e.excessively tubular).

All you manufactures, if you make it, I will buy it.

Hmmm, the only one that I know of that will meet most of your criteria is PUREJEEP's front bumper.

1. Will mount a Warn PowerPlant winch/compressor.
2. Mounts down low and between the frame rails.
3. Stubby bumper does not retain the factory fog lights but the full length version will.
4. Top of bumper can be drilled to mount additional off road lights.
5. Designed to use a Roller or Hawse fairlead.
6. Looks anything but retro or cheezy.
