AEV Bumper Install Trick
I just finished installing the AEV front bumper. Well, most of it. We saved the crush cans, winch, and tow hooks for next time (tow hooks are still on their way). Preparing the crush cans is such a pain, I though this would make the install easier. So far, it hasn't been too bad.
I found one trick during the install that was worth sharing. When you bolt on the winch mount, you have to bolt it in two places under the mounting plate. The nut is very hard to reach, UNLESS you use a socket extension. Slide the entension through the side hole, then plug it into the socket, then bolt away. The alternative would have been a nightmare. :-)
