Default AEV Drop Brackets and EVO Protek Skid System Compatibility?

Looking into different skid options for my 2012 JK, and I was all but ready to pull the trigger on the Evo Protek skid system for my 2012 JK. I noticed in a Wayalife writeup that you attach the skids to the UCA mount. I've got a 2.5" AEV lift with geometry correction control arm drop brackets installed, and I'm concerned that this mounting point will be unavailable for the skids due to this.

Anyone out there with both control arm drop brackets and Evo skids? Thanks.

I do not know how they differ, but I have the Rough Country drop brackets and was able to shoe horn the JCR Skid with exhaust loop protection onto it.

For the record, talked to one of the engineers with EVO. They let me know that, to make it work, you need to trim the mounts on the skid and reweld them. Prob going to ditch brackets and get some adjustable LCA's

I know two jeeps, one being mine, that have the EVO skids and AEV drop brackets (2012 and 2013 JK's). Takes a little convincing on the driver LCA where they both attach, but no issues and no modifications. The drop brackets needs to stuff between the LCA mount and the skid. You may be saying, hey, I don't want to shoe horn something in! Well, the EVO crossmember skid required two pry bars and drilling out of one of the mounting holes. Massive pain in the a##.

Works fine on mine and I didn't have to make any adjustments. I have the AEV 3.5" SC lift. Heres a picClick image for larger version
