Default AEV Front Bumper

I'm considering the AEV front bumper and Smittybilt XRC8 winch for my JK. Anyone have either of these yet?

I just ordered the Smittybilt XRC8 winch, seems like a great deal at 299.00, I will be mounting it on my Mopar Winch Bumper.

I just received and installed my AEV bumper. Bumper is great... I didn't go with a winch at this time so I drilled some extra holes (2) in the bumper put a license plate bracket over the fairlead opening. Looks appropriate and not like a winch bumper w/out a winch. The install instructions for the AEV weren't too bad, but not the best either. I'd just read them twice and then read them again... Overall, I’m 110% satisfied w/the finished bumper.

I Have AEV bumper, skid plate, tow hooks, Hella 1000 Rallys, skyjacker 3/4 inch coil spacers ( areal load up front), Cooltech license plate bracket for winch and Warn 9500ti. You decide.

Default AEV Bumper Install Instruction

If you explor the AEV website you will find bumper install instructions in .pdf format. These instruction include skid plate and tow hook installations. The "booklet" is 24 pages of color illustrations and color photos of the complete process. You can actually see what's going on in the photos for a change. Bumper installation does require some deconstructive and constructive fabrication, but nothing requiring a Phd. The installation is well worth it.
