I like it but the $350 price tag is preventing me from buying it. I wish it was $250 then I could justify buying it.

Yeah I agree it's pricey but if you add up the cost of comparable RotoPax etc it's not all outta line. Granted its not a couple of rusty Gerry acns but the ease of refueling accounts for part of the cost? I just need to see if it's in any way compatable with a Terra Flex tire holder.

I can't say enough good things about my fuel caddy. I have had 10 gallons of gas in if for a couple of weeks and it has given me peace of mind this weekend. I was in the middle of the Rockies scouting for deer and elk this weekend. I left the pavement with 3/4's of a tank of gas and didn't think twice about running out of fuel. Knowing the extra 10 gallons is there makes the $$ of the tank well worth it!

just my .02.

When I asked the AEV guys at thew Overland Expo in Flagstaff if the fuel caddy will fit any other tire carrier they replied that it fit only the AEV carrier do to how it is molded.

So I'm going to get an AEV rear bumper system.

I suppose a talented metal smith could figure out a way to modify a different brand's carrier to fit the fuel caddy, maybe even market the conversion bracket....
