That color matched hardtop looks really good. Did AEV do that for you?

How is your spare mounted? It looks like you have the factory rear bumper and it is hangin off the rear door.

I have driven a JK with an AEV hood on the freeway into a headwind, and there was abolutely no lifting. Not sure if it was due to the extra weight, or because of the vents reducing the lift.

Yes, I have the factory rear bumper until AEV comes out with their rear bumper and tire carrier. There is a spacer installed which allows the 37" tire to mount to the factory carrier.

I am VERY happy with the quality of the AEV hood and AEV did a really nice job on the paint. It is built like a beast. When I lifted my hood for the first time I started laughing. I couldn't help but think about the good ol' days when you could jump up on the hood to sit and talk with friends and not worry about the hood smashing in.
As far as hood flopping, no movement here. During our recent road trip from Louisiana to Michigan to drop the Jeep back off at AEV, we saw no flopping in 1000+ miles. During the recent blast of winter winds in Chicago and Michigan, no hood movement at all even though the Jeep was blasted all over the road.

Its the BEST looking thing out there.
AEV is TOP notch when it comes to dealing with them (love my wheels)
but I just have to put a hold on the hood... I have no doubt I will buy
it...
