Default Are AEV lifts worth the extra money?

I am looking to purchase an AEV 3.5 dual sport lift here in the near future. On one hand I want what's best for my lifestyle, mostly street driving with the occasional offroad adventure when I get the chance. But one the other hand I can get a cheaper lift. AEV seems to be the best kit for street jeeps that put more miles on the street than on the trail. But they are trail worthy as well. Looking for opinions and experiences

What are you looking to do with your jeep? Street, trails, crawling, mud, desert?

It's mainly on the asphalt honestly. We get offs some throghtout the year, but mostly on the paved roads. But I want to know that I can get to where I want to go when I'm ready. Everything I've researched says that the aev kits are the best at on road handling as well as off. I've never bought a lift kit and just trying to decide. The money isn't the problem, just want to make sure it's worth it.

Yes they are worth it. Consider the THOUSANDS of threads on here from people that lifted their JK and now have one issue or another. If you can afford it and want a superb on road ride, Get the AEV.

Yes.. Just added the Dualsport RS 4.5"in. lift.. I cannot believe how awesome this Jeep drives sitting on 37's with that amount of lift!! If you are a weekend warrior like myself (ie not a hardcore rock crawler) and can afford it, go for it!! If you plan on really going hardcore, go Rock Krawler, Metal Cloak, etc....

I'm planning on running 37s as well, but with the 3.5 lift. One slideshows that the 3.5 would work with 37s but 35s were recommended. I have flat fender flares already and have cut the corner off the pinch welds in front of the rear tires.

Love my aev 2.5. Took a corner this evening and my buddy was shocked how much faster I hit it than he can in his stock jk.

37's with flats will be fine with the Dualsport 3.5"in.. My 35's looked soooo small with the 4.5"in.. I originally ordered the 3.5, but my wife convinced me to cancel and go for the 4.5 : )

I have the 2.5" with 34's and I drive a lot. The lift was worth every penny. I drive it like I stole it and it handles a lot better than it ever did stock. High speed on the highway or crawling down the beach it handles just as good.
