Default Aev Pro cal

I used the pro cal to "0" out my tpms, correct my speedo, higher winching idle, etc.... It also has the option to input the gear ratio (5:13) which I'm not completely understanding what was done as I have not noticed any difference. I have a 6 speed..... Is that function for autos??

Gear ratio still matters for manuals. It tells the ESP program where you are starting at.

So if I notice zero difference how would I know it's doing its job?

From what I understood... if you re-geared without re calibrating, I heard that the vehicle would be in limp mode immediately once you started the vehicle following the re-gear. Isn't this true on the 2012's and up?
