Default AEV Pro-Cal recalberation tool

Has anyone used a AEV Pro-Cal to fix there computer when they change to bigger tires or changed gears? If so did it work well and is it worth the money?

Yup, great use of 160 bucks. Your JK can run just fine without it but, so much better with it!
Biggest thing it does is fix the shift points in your tranny and correct the spedo for larger tires.

Other things like adding day time running lights and other features are nice too.

Since a programmer company hasn't broken the encryption for the 2011-2012 JK's can the AEV Pro-Cal be used to fine tune the shift points in an Auto tranny with stock tires or is the Pro-Cal only for larger tires?

ProCal only changes values in the TIPM (like the dealers StarScan tool), it doesn't change anything in the (encrypted) PCM. So no to it doing engine or automatic trans "tunes". Any reference to ProCal and restoring performance is talking about using it to tell your JK the proper size of your tires, which allows the computer to properly compute stock shift points.

You can use it to set tire/gear sizes, TPMS values (like 0 to disable the system), daytime running lights, Rubi swaybar light disable (if you remove the stock e-swaybar), and a few other things.

Yep, it set my speedo back with 35" tires and gave me daylight running. I am still under warranty so I did not want to give the dealer an excuse to honor the warranty.

Thanks for the info. I'll remember to check out/order the Pro-Cal whenever I'm ready to upgrade tire size.
