Default AEV Procal on 2012 JKU major difference!!

Got my Jeep back from Off Road EVO today and they did an awesome job!!

Bought the AEV Procal from them, thinking it would be handy to have.
Drove the jeep home and thought, hmm this isn't too bad, didnt quite feel stock but, not bad.
Used the Procal, pulled it out of the garage, started driving down the road, and thought i was in my stock Jeep again...Definitely makes a difference in the tranny, calibrating up for a bigger tire.
Definitely worth the bucks!

Does this help with retuning for an intake and exhaust? With a 2012 that is.

it does nothing for a tune but, it does allow you to recalibrate your speedometer and that controls your shift points. getting your speedo on right will help your jeep to run properly.

If I may add as well : It's a must have for 2012's . Putting in larger tires without calibrating the speedo ... will cause the ESP to malfunction (dangerous) and enter the JK into Limp mode..... which we all know it sucks big time.

The Procal did nothing for performance, Jeep runs same as before, just made the Transmission run a little smoother.
I was driving it earlier and completely forgot it was lifted.
I'm super pleased for such a simple device!

Default just installed

Shifting 100% smoother with 35's and 3.73's and speedo right on again....TPMS light off too. 5 minutes

Definitely worth it on the 2012

What about for manual trans? Since the driver controls the shift points is it necessary? Aside from the speedo calibration is it adjusting anything else on a manual?

i have had nothing but trouble with TPMS and the Procal on my 2012. in addition, the speedo is right on at 70 with GPS, but it is significantly off at city driving of 35-40 by about 5mph.

i followed the instructions - even called into their support (who treated me like an idiot), but i can't get my light to go off and stay off.

i am trying to run 28psi.

i aired my tires up to 35 and reset everything to stock using the Procal. then after the light went off, i reprogrammed for 22psi - i waited a day or so and aired down to 28. day later light back on.

i have tried their suggestions and i am just about done with this thing!! can't wait for a real programmer!!

I used the Procal on my 2012 running 37"s and 4.10's. Set TPMS setpoint to zero and got rid of the sensors. No issues.
