AEV Procal question
Thanks guys for the replies. I have the right speed according to my GPS but when at 70 MPH my RPM's are at 3000 seems a little high. I thought the AEV Procal would change that if the Speedo was right on, which it is. If anyone is running the same tires and AEV Procal let me know what you set the Procal to. Thanks
I am using a Garmin GPS not a built in. I got my 2011 at the end of the build year so I think it should have the crappy mini van engine and 3.73 are my gears. It does feel like its not down shifting so tomorrow I'll turn off my overdrive and see if that helps. Again I thought the procal would fix the RPM's? oh well...
I had the same problem until I took the mesuerment from the center of the wheel to the ground. I got 16.5" then I X2 and came up with 33". I'm running 315/75 x 16 GY Duratracs which according to GY website should be 34.6". Now my speedo is right on with my GPS. I think it matters on how heavy your Jeep is and PSI in the tire.
