Default AEV ProCal and TPMS -2012 JK

Ok so I bought some 33x12.5-15' wheels and tires with TPMS sensors from DTD; all was well until a couple of days ago when the damn light started flashing for about a minute, then stays on whenever I start my Jeep. I was running at 32 PSI (max. load inflation rating on the Duratracs is 35 PSI).

The OEM rocommended pressure rating for the stock BFG MT/KM's is 37 PSI.
I tried airing back up all the way around to 35, then 38, then 40 PSI but still can't get the light to clear/reset. (Yes, I drove it enough to allow for it to clrear/reset, a good 25 or 30 miles on interstate)

I talked to a local Jeep dealer and they claim it needs to be put on an analyzer ($95 min.) to determine if the TPMS system failed or a bad sensor.

DTD is willing to refund my cost for the 5 sensors, so if I go this route, will the AEV Procal work to disable the TPMS even if I do have a bad sensor?

Thanks!

Did you fill the spare also? I'm running 35 psi on mine at the moment. Also running 33 duratracs on 15s.

The new procal for 12 will take care of that for you

Yes I check the spare as well as the 4 running tires...BTW, 35 PSI is too high a pressure for your 33" Duratracs

The ProCal will let you enter any pressure you want or disable the sensor if you enter 0 psi, also it takes several cycles of the ignition key to clear a low tire indication. Disconecting the battery momentarly will also reset the sensor.

Ya I know. Just wanted to see how it rides. I was using 32 psi before that. It came from discount tires with 33psi. Didn't have any tpms issues at all.

If you set the TPMS on the Procal at zero, it shuts off the TPMS completely. I set it at zero and check my pressure manually.

There's an option on the Procal to reset the computers codes, I recall.

There is no code displayed by the OBD computer, only the idiot light flashes for a minute, then stays on continuously
