Default AEV procal, vin locked so is it garbage now?

Traded in my '07 JK but forgot to un-program it so now I have a perfectly good AEV procal that is ready for the garbage. Or is it?? Would hate to just throw it away...

You need to plug it into the old keeper and reset it back to factory. The only way to unlock the unit.

I don't know if the same can be gone with the procal, but I did the same thing with a edge programmer once. I called edge and they had me to plug it into my PC and they reset it. They fussed and said that they usually charge to do so, but they'll do it free this once.

No way to track down the Jeep? All you have to do is set the switches and plug it in ONCE!

It's no longer at the dealer. I guess its good karma because the next owner will have correct shift points and an accurate speedometer.
