The AEV rear slider??

Default The AEV rear slider??

Was thinking about getting one. Just wondering if they're worth the money..

If I still had a Dana 44 rear axle, I would definitely get one. A couple of years ago in Moab I slipped off a rock and took out my rear yoke, which in turn grenaded my rear diff. I'm pretty sure that the rear slider would have prevented the damage.

I would. They are expensive but worth it. When I hear my rear diff hitting rocks I don't even worry about it.

Subscribed. I'm also interested in this. Does anyone know if it will work with aftermarket differential covers?

Yes. I am running mine with the riddler cover.

I'm doing the same I do believe it has already saved my spare stock driveshaft I bought mine used so even kinder on the pocketbook

Definitely worth it . It has taken some big hits & I an certain it is the only reason I still am running my stock drive shaft!

Here's some pics. Hope these help. It attaches with 3 big U bolts. 2 on the axle tube and 1 around the front of diff before the driveshaft. Click image for larger version
