I have mine coming out of the AEV hood and was easy to put on with no interferance at all. I use the bowl/lantern/salad mixer pre-filter on mine rather than the scoop, it works fine and only has slight noise with the passenger window down. I put on the Delta billet light brackets, but do not have lights mounted yet. It doesn't seem like it will be an issue with mounting lights on them though, as long as the lights stay under 6".

 

I like the AEV one as well, but the River Raider one is nice too, and doesn't sit on the fender
