Can anyone give me a measurement of how high the air ram on the aev snorkel sticks up above the roof? Thanks.

 

Just eyeballed mine and it's no more than 2 inches. Couldn't fine my tape measure.

 

Too late to run out to the garage with a tape right now but here's some pics of mine. If you don't get an answer PM me and I'll measure it tomorrow.

The height also depends if you are permanently going to keep the Pre-filter head on all the time or run the Ram-Air head also.

If running the Pre-filter permanently, you can cut about an inch or two I believe from the top the snorkel. With the trim, the Pre-filter will sit about the same height as the top of the JK and will fit more flushed and secure.

 

My ram air sticks up about 1.5-2" at most above my windshield.

 

But if you run or plan on running a roof rack I would suggest not trimming the snorkel. You might be able to see in my previous pics that I didn't cut the snorkel and my prefilter just fits.
