Default AEV Snorkel through car wash?

Anyone with an AEV snorkel, have any problems with taking their jeep through the car wash? Did anyone notice any water in the intake box afterwards?

I was gonna take it through the wash after getting gas the other day but my wife brought up that same concern. I was gonna ask the same question but it looks like you beat me to it.

I've done it several times with the AEV snorkel. If you're wheeling as hard as you may be with that snorkel the drive-thru car wash is the last of your worries. Put that baby through some punishment!

As far as it getting torn off?......no friggin' way. I have gone through THICK brush and had branches that was quite large not even phase that thing. Of course, I would assume this has more to do with the quality of your install. I did it myself, it's pretty easy just make sure everything it rock-solid.

As far as the water?.......you're good to go, no problem at all.

I have had Zero issues with the touchless car washes with the snorkel. If you are worried just turn the ram air (if you have one) towards the windshield, but I have never done this and had no issues with water.

Not poking fun at anyone here, but after I thought about the topic of this thread, I had to smile thinking about the worries of taking a snorkel through a "wet" environment -

I have had Zero issues with the touchless or softcloth car washes with the snorkel. If you are worried just turn the ram air (if you have one) towards the windshield. I just keep my ram-air facing forward and after the first wash I checked my airbox...no water. Drive your JK with snorkel in those carwashes and don't worry!
