Does AEV Tire Carrier work with Smittybilt XRC rear bumper?

The AEV carrier is engineered to work with the stock bumper or AEV bumper. Any others and it probably won't be able to be mounted correctly without significant modification. That being said, I haven't tried it myself so I won't 100% shoot down the idea. But I HIGHLY recommend that you get a carrier/bumper package that are engineered together or at least a non-spindle tire carrier like Orfab or Hanson that is completely independent of the bumper.

 

If you already have the bumper and are looking for a tire carrier to go with it, check out the Teraflex HD Hinged Carrier. It costs slightly less than the AEV carrier.

 

I think you can do it with some minor modification. I think I might do it sometime with my ARB. Check out this write up on a mopar off road bumper.
