Default AEV vs. ARB

i am trying to decide between the AEV front bumper and the ARB Bull Bar like on WOL's Nemo. Any preferences between the two, any info would be great

Both are good. I know with AEV you can get a skid plate with it, not sure if the ARB can? The AEV rear bumper is amazing if you wanna match up

The biggest knock on the AEV bumper has been the price, but now there are several options that you can exclude to bring the price down such as:

Winch plate
Top cover
Fog light mounts
Air bag crush cans

The AEV has a recessed winch location which limits the number of winches it can accomodate.

In the end, it usually comes down to which style you prefer.

I have one of the older AEV bumpers and they are nice. They fit the lines of the JK really nicely, and the powder coat finish is one of the best out there, and probably the most durable. If I were to do it again today I would go with the J8 version of the bumper.

I was in the same boat. Ended up with the ARB after I did the math. Sure the AEV looks nice but BOY are the PROUD of their products. They wanted almost double what the ARB set me back at the time. My ARB looks just as nice, is just as durrable, and mounts my winch just fine.

Here's a crappy iPhone picture of mine:
