Well, I chose the ARB because I thought the angular lines matched the angular lines of the jeep better. Price was no object for me in the big picture.

Here is a pic.

Here is the tow bar adapted to the front for towing...

Close up.

I've seen that JK and RV before!!
It's good to know there are more jk's that are lifted and get towed behind rv's.

But how did you mount that towing bracket to the bumper? I haven't figured mine out yet.
I have this kind of bracket that I took off when I installed my ARB.

Also does your jeep get covered in grime every time you tow it? I don't know how to keep it down.

I had the same decision, I went with ARB

I won't go with anything else after the wreck, I think it was a good decision.

Nice RV and jeep. I saw your thread about your wreck. Glad you are ok...

I used the Mopar tow bar and had it modified by my off road shop to bolt to the tow hook holes on the ARB bumper. If you look at my last pic you can see the added plate where the front bar bolts and the other bar bolts to that when under way. They had to widen the bar you see so it would fit properly. Take all of your stuff to your local 4x4 shop and work with a good welder. Just get everything level and it should work great. Mine works much better and MUCH safer than how mopar originally designed it.

Jeep gets a little dirty but not too bad. Much worse when dragging it down a dirt road.

Just noticed you are in norman. I take this coach up to Norman a lot for tailgaiting at the OU games. Are you there for any games?

A few, depending on when I have tickets, I had season tickets last year. This year I've been kind of lazy.

Mind if I asked where exactly you took it to? I'm looking to get that and a few other things done that I don't trust myself doing.

Figured I'd bring this back as I'm looking at an ARB as well, any regrets from anyone who bought one? If not regrets per say then any down sides that have shown up over time? things that bug you both on and off the trail?

What types of changes or features will the new bumpers incorporate? Are these products they exhibited at SEMA last November?

Why do you think this will bring down the price?

Thanks for the link.

That is quite a price drop. I guess the features they omitted must have been labor intensive to produce.

It will be interesting to see how well this bumper sells since it is now price competitive, albeit without the features that differentiated it from the competition.
