I run the Rock Krawler High Steer kit with drag link flip and it works great for me.

When in doubt, buy EVO.

No, 3" and above is typically when you'll need it. It raises the roll center at the axle, by using a trac bar bracket, and flips the mounting point for the axle side draglink joint to the top of the steering knuckle. Similarly these two mods match the geometry between the draglink and trac bar while at the same time accounting for roll center.

fyi, the 2.5 max travel kit is a 3'' in the front and a 2'' in the back, hence the 2.5.

so would this kit be the solution/prevention of issues such as bump steer, wondering down the road, and a "loose" steering wheel?

I purchased the EVO kit and couldn't be happier. It went on like a breeze and is very well engineered. Just my .02...for what that is worth. Good luck.

Rockrawler DragLink Flip and Track bar also changed to there TieRod. Also changed over to Reid high steer knuckles to get the TieRod up and out of the way since I bent the heck out of the stock one. Everything drives so much better and more stable and that's with out a steering stabilizer shock. I have hydraulic assist to go on and waiting for one stupid clamp before I can put it on. Since what I thought was going to be week for the part I left off the stabilizer, now 2 months later it's off and no problems. This is probably the best upgrade overall so far.

And no issue going with EVO, either setup will be a great improvement.
